⚖ CounselGrid™
Client Instructions & Capabilities Guide
AI-assisted legal workflow, evidence organization, research support, verification and human-controlled action.
What CounselGrid does
CounselGrid organizes matter information and coordinates specialized legal-workflow agents so lawyers and authorized institutional users can find, compare, verify and review case information more efficiently. Gavel™ is the conversational interface to the workspace.
CounselGrid is designed to support professional judgment, not replace it. Consequential legal findings and actions remain subject to authorized human review.
Why a firm or institution uses it
Bring documents, facts, deadlines, testimony, research and agent work into one matter-centered workspace.
Connect claims to source material, verification state and human approval instead of treating generated text as authority.
Surface timeline differences, unsupported assertions and missing-evidence dependencies for professional review.
Track agent tasks from queued work through verification and human review.
Organization-bound access controls are designed to prevent one firm's users from retrieving another firm's matters.
Important administrative and review events can be recorded so the organization can understand what happened and who approved it.

Recommended client workflow
- Sign in with the account and organization identity issued or authorized for your firm/institution.
- Create or open the correct matter before adding information.
- Upload only documents you are authorized to process.
- Use the dashboard and Gavel™ to identify open tasks, alerts, research gaps and pending reviews.
- Allow specialized agents to organize and analyze the assigned material.
- Inspect the source evidence behind flagged findings.
- Resolve HUMAN REVIEW items using professional judgment; record a useful review note.
- Verify citations, filings, legal advice, settlement decisions and other consequential actions before external use.
- Keep matter access current when personnel or representation changes.
What CounselGrid does not decide
It should not autonomously determine guilt, liability, sentencing, witness credibility, bail, settlement acceptance, judicial outcomes or other adjudicative/consequential legal decisions. Generated analysis can be incomplete or wrong and must be checked against authoritative sources and matter evidence.
Good operating practices
Use matter-specific source documents; keep user roles current; review flagged conflicts; treat retrieved text as evidence rather than instructions; do not place passwords or secrets into matter documents; verify external citations before reliance; and use the Human Review Queue for consequential findings.
The business advantage
CounselGrid's value is workflow leverage: it can reduce time spent locating information, assembling chronologies, organizing evidence, tracking repetitive work and identifying items that need professional attention. That can give lawyers more time for legal judgment, client strategy, advocacy and relationship work. Actual savings depend on matter complexity, data quality, firm workflow and how the service is configured.
